Our mission is to support the arts, to make ballet, dance, yoga, pilates, and strength-training accessible to the world, regardless of where you live. This is our commitment—to our participants, our community, and our future.
I've always been a supporter of the arts with a deep appreciation for the positive impact they bring to society and the important role they play in storytelling through emotional experiences. Like everyone, I found myself reacting to a surreal new world, in April of 2020 when COVID-19 was spreading rampantly and our lives came to a screeching halt. Being a mother, my instinct for supporting my dancing daughter's physical and mental well-being kicked into overdrive. The desire to find a silver lining during a dark and uncertain time, in addition to supporting the artists who were greatly impacted by the effects of shelter-in-place orders and canceled performances, were at the forefront of my thoughts. I saw the hardships and interruptions facing ballet students and ballet dancers around the world. This inspired me to create a platform where giving back and greater accessibility was its core. The idea? Offer donation-based classes taught by professional dancers and guest experts that could reach the lives of anyone, no matter who you are, or where you live in the world.
And with that, Ballet Together was born.
I hope you will join us...
